As part of an expansion initiative to cope with increasing levels of business we are looking to recruit a number of lead and trainee junior engineers to work in the Southern Region reporting to the Southern Engineering Manager.
We are primarily looking for experienced lead Installation engineers to operate mainly out of the Farnborough region, however we are also looking to engage junior engineers to train and develop their AV knowledge with the aim of becoming a lead engineers.
The successful applicants will join the current engineering team, installing presentation, video conferencing, digital signage and many other types of audio visual equipment.
The lead engineering role will require, at least five years AV experience with a recognised electronic/video industry qualification being an advantage. Specific knowledge of videoconferencing, signage software, networking and data experience would be beneficial, however full and continuing training will be given. Candidates will be required to have or work towards achieving CTS qualifications on an ongoing basis.
Candidates for the junior engineering role will need to demonstrate a suitable level of practical AV experience. Full ongoing training will be provided for those selected to attain certification to the next level of AV installation engineering.
Some weekend, out of hours work and working away from home will be required, therefore flexibility on working hours will be key to the position with overtime payments available. The job will involve working under pressure and to tight deadlines delivering cutting edge solutions with the highest standards.
A full driving licence and current passport is required plus relevant H&S qualifications, together with CRB check and ECS or CSCS accreditation.
