Saville helps T2 serve up the perfect signage solution

Specialist Australian tea brand T2 is reimagining and reinventing the humble brew, elevating it to a whole new audience. Since opening its first store in Melbourne in 1996, the company expanded rapidly across Australia and has since been looking overseas for new vibrant destinations to share their passion for ancient tea rituals and to share in their celebration of all things tea.

In the UK, the first store in SOHO’s Shoreditch was quickly joined with 17 further outlets across the nation, including the Bullring shopping centre in Birmingham and Glasgow’s Buchanan Street. Creating a vibrant retail experience is a core motivator for the business and the staff share a common belief in the power of in-store sensory experiences to create customer interaction and friendships that help drive the business.

Saville Audio Visual were brought to the tea table to help create an engaging digital signage experience for customers.

In the Birmingham and Glasgow stores the solution comprises a portrait mounted 55” LG display, rated for continuous 24/7 use and featuring the latest webOS signage capability.

Together with built-in Wi-Fi and System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture the screens are extremely cost-effective whilst providing an easy to use, intuitive interface for staff to create and manage engaging high quality content.

System maintenance is enhanced by the use of an industry leading Full-Service Videowall mount from Peerless AV, allowing unrestricted access to the rear of the screens whilst facilitating a perfect flush fit in the bespoke designed display walls. Further peace of mind is provided by a SavilleCARE maintenance contract with full technical support, unlimited callouts and replacement loan equipment in the unlikely event of a repair being required, ensuring the T2 message is always on the boil.
