Baillie Gifford is an investment management firm wholly owned by 36 partners, all of whom work full time for the firm. It was founded in Edinburgh in 1908 and still operates globally from its headquarters in the city. Assets under management exceed £75 billion.
Saville won the contract to supply and install a range of integrated audio visual systems and a TV distribution system in the company’s new Edinburgh offices.
The signage network includes a large welcome screen installed in the reception area supplied via a WyreStorm HDMI Matrix Switcher which also provides TV feeds to the other Training and Meeting Rooms. The Training Rooms and Meeting Room feature state-of-the-art interactive 87” ActivBoards with short throw projectors, which eliminate shadows and encourage trainees to become fully engaged with presentations. The Training Rooms also have linked functionality and can be opened up to create larger areas.
The lounge area is fitted with a discreet background audio system with iPod input source; volume and source control is provided via an 8-button AMX control panel.
Five Syndicate Rooms, used for presentations, were also equipped with HDMI and VGA connectivity.
